Frequently asked questions

Which federal courts see the most ADA lawsuits?
In June 2026, S.D. Florida received the most non-employment ADA filings of any US federal district court (61 of 208), followed by S.D. New York (34) and W.D. Pennsylvania (27). Together those three took 59% of the month's filings. The ranking covers every district, counted from public court records as of 2026-10-02, and includes premises suits as well as website suits.
How many federal districts receive ADA filings?
30 of the 94 federal district courts received at least one non-employment ADA filing in June 2026, and 76 received at least one between February to August 2026. Most filings still concentrate in a handful of districts.
Is this a ranking of website accessibility lawsuits?
No. It counts nature-of-suit code 446, which covers every non-employment ADA suit: website accessibility cases and physical-premises cases together. Federal court records do not separate the two, so a district with many premises suits ranks high here too. State-court cases are not included.
