About ScreenMySite
ScreenMySite scans websites for accessibility issues against WCAG 2.2 AA, using axe-core, the open-source engine widely used in accessibility audits. Merchants use the free scanner to see what an automated audit of their site would find, and hire us for audits and recurring monitoring when they want the full picture.
We started ScreenMySite after watching e-commerce merchants get demand letters citing issues an automated scan would have caught, and watching the products sold as protection fail to protect them. So the positioning is deliberately unexciting: we find issues in your site’s own code and show you how to fix them there. No widget, no badge, no “compliance score.”
We are also honest about the limits. Automated scanning catches roughly 57% of WCAG issues; the rest takes a person. A scan from us is a baseline, an audit is a judgment, and neither is a legal certification, because no honest tool can offer one.
Who runs it
ScreenMySite is built and run by Michael, and every audit is performed by a person, not queued into software. If you email us, he answers.
